As first contracts go, it could not have been much better. A large scale infrastructure project in the south east operating as site agent working with a great team at AECOM and an equally great site team from Structural Soils. Both organisations worked closely and as one team which is always greatly beneficial to any project. I believe my experience from a contracting background helped to bridge that consultant/contractor gap that can sometimes appear. It was a whole new world for everyone due to COVID, with additional health and safety measures in place to aid social distancing and cleanliness.

It is always beneficial to your experience to work on large scale project such as this. They provide you with new skills, processes and knowledge that you can take to other, smaller scale projects, benefiting the industry as a whole.
